Larry decided to try his hand at writing, something he had thought about doing for over forty years. Having retired from the USAF and the local university in his hometown, he decided to sit down and make it happen. “You know a computer sure beats a yellow tablet and a manual typewriter to put things in order and keep up with the pages.”

Welcome to my Writings Website. A brief note about me: I am a new author and published my first book. The book is Lightning Strikes Twice and was published on Amazon in print and Kindle formats. You can also find it in Barns & Nobles, and hopefully other stores as well. It was made available in July 2024.

Larry lives in Lubbock, Texas, and graduated from Lubbock High School. The same year he joined the United States Air Force and served as an enlisted Security Police (later changed to Security Forces) for 20 years before retiring. After that, he worked for Texas Tech University in the Physical Plant, the Student Union, and lastly, in the Museum as the Operations Superintendent.

He married his wife Peggy in 1980, and have been blessed by her children with several grand and great grandchildren.
